Haji Ali

This whitewashed mosque is famous as it’s visited by people of all faiths. Haji Ali, after a pilgrimage to Mecca, renounced all material pleasures as a successful merchant. A mosque was built upon the place where he sat to meditate. The mosque also houses his tomb.The mosque stands at the far end of a causeway protruding into the Arabian Sea. The beautiful Haji Ali Mosque can only be visited during low tide.
